December Newsletter
*No classes Thursday, December 2nd & Thursday, December 9th due to our performances.
***Would there be any parents or siblings interested in helping set up chairs and taking down chairs for our Christmas Showcase? I am also looking for someone that could run the sound booth to play and stop the music, as well as someone to open and close the curtain for each dance? Please let me know if you are interested or know of someone that would be. THANK YOU!
Festival of Trees: Everyone should have received all notes, itineraries & line up for the Festival. If you have not, or have any questions, please let me know. I don’t want anyone to be confused or misplaced when it comes time to perform. PLEASE be sure to have your dancer there at 1:30. We need to stretch and line up, in time to go on stage at 2:10. Discount tickets are still available at Zions Bank for those who don’t want to pay full price at the door. Remember, Dancers get in free!!
Christmas Showcase: Our Christmas Showcase will be on December 9th @ 6:30 p.m. @ Eagle Valley Elementary. Please note that the location has changed due to not having enough seating. There is a $7.50 Recital fee per dancer or $10.00 for those with two or more siblings in classes. This fee was due on November 22nd. The recital fee will allow all family & friends to attend this performance. If you have not yet paid this fee, please do so ASAP. The Intermediate & Beginning Tumbling classes will be performing first. All dancers will be meeting on the north side of the bathrooms next to the cafeteria to line up with their individual classes. Dancers will be watching the performance with their classes until it is their turn to perform. You are welcome to come and get your dancer(s) after they perform, in the same place they lined up. All dancers are to wear their pajamas. They can be Christmassy or not. Please leave the front row open when being seated, so those taking pictures and videos of their dancer’s routine, can do so without a blocked view.
Tumbling classes arrive at 6:10 All other classes arrive at 6:15
Christmas Santa Charity Performance: We will be having the classes that performed at Festival of Trees performing at this Charity Event. It will be on Saturday, December 11th at 11:30. Dancers need to arrive at 11:15 to get lined up and stretched. We will be wearing the same costumes we wore to perform at the Festival. Please refer to the same line-up as well. There is no cost to perform. Santa will be there for children to sit on his lap. If you want to sit on Santa’s lap you must bring a donation for the families they are holding this event for. Pictures will also be available More information will come on a separate flyer.
Holidays: Christmas Break: No Classes will be held December 20th – January 2nd.
I am so glad we have so many opportunities to perform this month. Performances are great for dancers. It helps to make them a better dancer. Plus they all love and enjoy it. Every class is doing an exceptional job. I couldn’t have asked for better students and teachers. Thank you all for your business and support of our studio. For those of you who haven’t been informed, we have now moved the studio down stairs. Make sure your dancers know they are to wait in the upstairs dance room until their teacher or I take them downstairs. We will soon have the basement entrance ready for them to use. Notes with instructions will come home when it is ready to go.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

One month gone by already! Classes are doing great and have already started learning their Christmas Dances. Our dancers can’t wait to perform them. We are so excited to work with each and every one of our students this season! We are off to a great start! Please let me know if we can help you in any way by answering any questions or concerns. I am so happy to hear the positive feed back I have been hearing. Thank you!!

September Newsletter: Welcome Back
Welcome back to another year of dance! Thank you to all of you who participated in our Summer Workshops. We had a blast, learning new moves and meeting new friends. If you have not yet received your studio shirt with your registration, please let me know and I will get one to you. Shirts, bags, etc. are still available for purchase for those interested. Please keep your studio shirts in good condition. We will be using these to perform in throughout the year including our first performance in October.
Dancewear: I will be placing an order for dance wear and shoes September 15th. All those who would like to place an order let me know. You will need black jazz pants or capris for our first performance in October.
Costume Deposit: We are going to have our first costume deposit due by October 31st. Notes will be sent home with classes for the deposit amount for your child’s costume. The remaining balance will be due in January.
Performances: We had a scheduled performance at the Scarecrow Festival in October, and sadly it has recently come to my attention that they have canceled the Festival. We will however, have the chance to perform there next year. I am so sorry for all those who were excited to perform , as was I.
**We will still be performing at the Festival of Trees, December 2nd at 2:10 p.m. Plan on having your dancer (s) there at 1:30 p.m. Ticket information will be handed out at a later date when we get closer to the performance. We are so excited to perform to help them raise money for Primary Children’s Hospital. This is a great opportunity for all dancers to get up in front of others and learn how to perform. The more you perform the more confident you will become on stage and as a dancer. It is very important that your student attend classes, so we can learn and perfect our dances. All classes participating in this performance will learn a short routine to Christmas music. I would like to have as many classes as we can perform, so let me know if your dancer will not be able to attend the performance, so I can plan accordingly. Festival dances will also be our Christmas showcase dances, giving them two chances to perform their routine.
I am wondering what you would think about purchasing a very inexpensive costume (under $20) or having everyone wear Red, Black or White dance attire with a Santa hat, or something Christmassy (under $8)? Please fill out the questionnaire below and return with your child to their next class.
Holidays: This month we will be celebrating Labor Day so there will be no classes Monday, September 6th.
Adult Workout Classes: Workout classes will start September 15th. First month will be ½ price. If you are interested in these classes please let me know. We are open to any suggestions you may have. You are welcome to try your first class for free.
