One month gone by already! Classes are doing great and have already started learning their Christmas Dances. Our dancers can’t wait to perform them. Please encourage your children to practice their dances and technique at home. It helps them to be better prepared in class and more confident. We are so excited to work with each and every one of our students this season! We are off to a great start! Please let me know if we can help you in any way by answering any questions or concerns. I am so happy to hear the positive feed back I have been hearing. Thank you!!
Costume Deposit: There will be a note sent home this month regarding your child’s costume deposit amount. Due date for costume deposits has been changed to November 31st due to our ticket cost for the Festival of Trees and Festival costume cost.
Performance: Festival of Trees: Thank you everyone who filled out the costume questionnaire for the Festival of Trees. Attached are the results for what your class will be wearing to perform and the cost.
For those of you performing, you need to have your Festival costume money in by October 30th so we can get them ordered.
Tumbling classes will not be performing at the Festival. You’ll still be receiving a ticket order form for the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets and to see other classes perform. Tumbling classes will still be performing at our Studio Christmas Showcase!!
Festival Tickets: Please see attached order form. Fill out and return by October 10th. Ticket orders will be placed on October 11th no later! They have very strict dates on when the orders have to be in by.
Fall Break: We are following the Alpine School District’s calendar for holidays and school closures. No classes will be held on October 14th-15th for Fall Break
Halloween: We will be having class Halloween Parties the week of the 25th – 29th. Please have your child dress up in their Halloween Costume & bring a bag to take home treats in. You will be sent home with a note of how many students are in your child’s class so we can pass out Halloween candy.
Please make sure they can move in the costume they wear to class. We will still be dancing!!
**There has been a variety of sicknesses going around already this year and I want to make sure we all take precautions with our children. Please keep your child home if they are sick, as to not bring the sickness to our dance class. Please make sure your child comes to class with clean hands, face and feet. In class, I strongly encourage no touching, especially for the little ones. Things spread so quickly and we all know that being sick is no fun. Thank you!
**Classes are filling up fast, so if you know anyone else interested in signing up, availability will be on a first come first serve basis. This goes for if a student would like to change into a different class or add a class as well.
Emails: Please check your emails. I believe that I received all emails on your registration forms. Thank you! Occasionally I will be sending emails if we have something come up that didn’t make it on the newsletter. This will include those of you interested in doing fundraisers. I will be sending you some information about them this month. Please let me know if your emails change.
